QUALITY ENGINEER (SUPPLY CHAIN)
Standard Hours: 40 hours per week
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
The Quality Engineer (Supply Chain) will be responsible for independent quality oversight of production and repair operation suppliers and associated supporting functions in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to complete supplier audits and reviews in accordance with the requirements of the Britten Norman Supplier Quality Requirements and contractual obligations.
The Quality Engineer (Supply Chain) will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Supplier Audit Programme, the validation of the effectiveness of supplier non-conformity reports, corrective actions, root cause analysis and root cause corrective actions and working with suppliers to ensure timely and effective action is taken in all cases.
Experience with supplier auditing in the aerospace industry, working with regulators and working knowledge of EASA Parts 21G & Part 145 requirements is essential for this role. Experience in Quality Techniques including Root Cause Analysis along with an understanding of ISO 9001 / AS9100 requirements and MAA regulatory requirements would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above and hold certifications in Quality Assurance such as an ONC or HNC and have demonstrable experience in the aerospace industry.
Any offer of employment will be conditional, subject to the successful completion of the Company’s Security Clearance process. This will be arranged by the Company on the candidate’s behalf.
