Job Description: 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Support Coordinator to join BN Defence Limited. BN Defence Limited provides MAOS, DAOS, CFAOS, MIL part 145 and Flight Test services and facilities to defence customers.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

The Customer Support Coordinator will provide a first class service to the customer against a support contract for technical services, component repair, depth maintenance and spares. This will include receiving and logging technical requests, liaising with group companies to compile quotations in line with the contract deadlines, processing authorised tasks in line with the company policy, tracking project progress and providing feedback to the customer. This role will also require a “hands on” approach in coordinating the current customer support team whilst actively seeking to build the support business and meet required targets.

 

Key responsibilities include:

Be the first point of contact for all contractual requirements from the customers ensuring that all requests are responded to in a timely manner.

Process all tasking and quotes in line with the contract terms, including adding requests to the database, ensuring all status changes are logged from initial enquiry to final invoice and payment.

Process orders on the database, system including quotes, order acknowledgements and invoicing.

Ensure that Purchase Orders are raised, progressed and monitored to meet required lead-times.

Generate the spares report required to support the Commercial activity associated with Depth Maintenance and Modification programmes.

Create customer quotations and proposals.

Expedite and supervise the delivery of all tasks through to customer acceptance and payment.

 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of working within a supply environment, specifically purchasing and procurement. The candidate will also have good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and be self-motivated.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above and be CIPS Level 3 qualified. Experience of working in a manufacturing or similar environment is essential along with demonstrable experience of working in an administration role. Any previous experience of working within a military support environment would be advantageous.

 

Security:

Any offer of employment will be conditional, subject to the successful completion of the Company’s Security Clearance process.  This will be arranged by the Company on the candidate’s behalf.
