original Islander design, which has an impressive world class
pedigree and impeccable safety record spanning 5 decades,
remains highly respected for its rugged dependability.
Celebrating 42 years since it's first flight in
1965, today's BN2B Piston Islander incorporates many hundreds of
modifications that have been developed to meet customer needs
over the 40 years.
The newest version of the aircraft, the
BN2C, is currently being designed and will come equipped with
other new features such as "Row 3" windows and 3 bladed,
scimitar props and electronic instruments, to name just a few.
Some of these features will also be available for retro-fit.
